Fans of classic giallo-style Italian horror are in for a treat with Luciano Onetti’s Sonno Profondo (Deep Sleep), a film that pays loving homage to such horror legends as Mario Bava and Dario Argento. I was astounded at the level of detail and care that went into making this look and feel like it came straight out of the ’70s.
